“…The new absorption peak at 1183 cm –1 was attributed to the C–O–C absorption peak of the ester group of SMA-SKN, which indicated that the anhydride ring opened and formed an ester group. The characteristic absorption peaks of the isopropyl group in SKN at 1369 and 1338 cm –1 also indicated that the SKN grafted to SMA successfully . The zeta potentials and particle diameters of the SMA microsphere and SMA-SKN microsphere are shown in Figure S1 of the Supporting Information.…”

“…Therefore, in addition to the strategy of synthesizing block/grafted polymers and composite nanoparticles, it is important to seek a strategy that can balance the interactions between the polymers. In our previous study, esterified polystyrene-maleic anhydride copolymer (ISMA) 23 was incorporated into gel ink to obtain a more stable aqueous system, and the mechanism of reinforcement of hydrophobic long chains in the aqueous system provided exciting handles for controlling the gel structure. Herein, we envision adding aqueous groups to the oily system and allowing these two groups with very different properties to enhance the interaction of the components through alternating structural domains.…”
