Mechanisms of long-term adaptation in different variants of surgical treatment of duodenal ulcer

Abstract: The advantages of compensatory – adaptive reaction here studied in 67 patients with duodenal ulcer operated on by organ – preserving techniques Bilrot-I and duodenoplasty. The advantages of adaptation include the values of immune (cellular and humoral immunity) and hormone status (insulin, cortisol, ACTG), peripheral blood indexes (morphological composition and biochemical indexes), vegetative system status and general adaptation syndrome characteristics.
