Christlikeness is the essence of the Christian life. Efforts to build spirituality in the era of technological progress have been widely analyzed, including for the millennial generation but are more at the level of phenomena. In general, the millennial generation is understood as those who were born in the range of 1987-2001. The contemporary lie in the world today is full of massive technological influence that changes human social life and even human spiritual life, especially creating the millennial generation. A fundamental question to be answered is how to build a spirituality that is relevant for the millennial generation in Indonesia. This article aims to demonstrate that attempts to build spirituality for the millennial generation in accordance with their characteristic must be based on and simultaneously aimed at being in the Christlikeness. This article will employ the literature method from books and journal articles. Specifically, most of the journal articles will cover the research within the last 10 years. There are three stages of analysis carried out, namely: first, conducting a study on the characteristics of the millennial generation specifically in Indonesia, second, demonstrating the essence of spirituality which is Christlikeness by examining Luke 9:23, and thirdly efforts to build a spirituality that is relevant to the Christian millennial generation in Indonesia. Conclusions are the final part of this article. The implication of this research both theoretically and practically is addressed to the church, the parents, and Christian educators who deal with the millennials. There is an urgency for to understand the characteristics of the millennials that they can build their spirituality. Furthermore, all who deal with the millennials must provide a relevant context for the millennials such as technology, their spirit of freedom, the attachment to the family. The essence of spirituality which is Christlikeness must be delivered through all these characteristics.

Every leader, including the church leaders, always had the authority to carry out his functions and duties. However, some facts showed that the leaders misused the authority for the benefit of themselves or their groups. This study provided an understanding of the term authority found in the text of Matthew 25:14-30 and its reflections for the church leaders in the digital era. The method of the study was a literature study approach, using literature from various sources with relevant themes. The results showed that according to Matthew 25:14-30, there were five main principles needed to carry out authority, namely: one, human’s authority belonged to God and was entrusted to be used for a purpose. Two, the authority of the leaders was used for His glory, according to His plans and purposes. Three, authority was a proof that God gave men freedom of action. Four, trust and loyalty were the developers of authority. Five, authority always contained demands for responsibility to God. These five principles made the core of implementations to establish a Divine-quality self which became the main key of today's church leaders. AbstrakSetiap pemimpin, termasuk pemimpin gereja, selalu memegang otoritas dalam menjalankan fungsi dan tugasnya. Namun terdapat berbagai fakta yang menunjukkan bahwa para pemimpin menyalahgunakan otoritas terebut demi kepentingan diri atau kelompok. Kajian ini memberikan pemahaman tentang otoritas yang terdapat dalam teks matius 25:14-30 dan refleksinya bagi para pemimpin gereja di era digital. Metode kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka dari berbagai literatur dengan tema relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sesuai kajian Matius 25:14-30 ditemukan bahwa dalam sebuah otoritas termuat lima prinsip utama yang perlu dilakukan dalam menunaikan otoritas yaitu: satu, otoritas manusia adalah milik Tuhan yang dipercayakan untuk dipergunakan dengan suatu tujuan. Dua, otoritas pemimpin dipergunakan bagi kemuliaan-Nya, sesuai rencana dan tujuan-Nya.Tiga, otoritas sebagai bukti bahwa Tuhan memberikan kebebasan bertindak pada manusia. Empat, kepercayaan dan kesetiaan adalah pembangun otoritas. Lima, dalam otoritas selalu termuat tuntutan pertanggungjawaban kepada Tuhan Lima prinsip tersebut menghasilkan inti implementasi yaitu membangun diri berkualitas Ilahi menjadi kunci pokok para pemimpin gereja di masa kini. dalam menjalankan tugas kepemimpinan di era digital.Kata Kunci: Konsep Otoritas; Otoritas Kristen; Kepemimpinan Kristen; Otoritas Kepemimpinan

The lifestyle of millennial teenagers today, both among Christians and teenagers, are generally influenced by the rapidly changing globalization movement, one of which is digital technology. So teenagers are increasingly addicted to the internet, absorb something new through certain sites and concentrate attention on their own will. This situation also affects the youth's interest in worship and church activities to be inconsistent, because they focus more on things that are considered more enjoyable. In addition to a dynamic lifestyle, adolescents in dealing with their problems often experience protracted confusion or stress. Some cases of suicide also occur due to problems that can be solved. Besides being unstable, these things are caused by bad associations and various forms of juvenile delinquency. For the church, the life of millennial youth is a formidable challenge as well as a great opportunity because they are the church of the future. To build the character of millennial youth in facing challenges in this dynamic era, the term bible people can be a solution for strengthening self-identity. Faith growth is very necessary for forming a healthy character by getting used to reading the Bible. Because a person who is built based on God's Word does not only gain knowledge and verbal advice but has a root of faith as a guide to the mindset, attitudes, actions, and decisions taken.AbstrakPola hidup remaja milenial saat ini baik di kalangan kristen maupun remaja pada umumnya dipengaruhi oleh gerak globalisasi yang cepat berubah, salah satunya ialah teknologi digital. Sehingga kaum remaja semakin kecanduan terhadap internet, menyerap sesuatu yang baru melalui situs tertentu serta perhatian terkonsentrasi pada kemauan diri sendiri. Keadaan ini juga mempengaruhi daya minat remaja terhadap ibadah dan kegiatan gereja menjadi tidak konsisten, sebab mereka lebih memusatkan diri kepada hal yang dianggap lebih menyenangkan. Selain gaya hidup yang dinamis, remaja dalam menghadapi masalahnya sering mengalami kegalauan atau stress yang berlarut-larut. Beberapa kasus bunuh diri juga terjadi akibat persoalan yang sebenarnya dapat diatasi. Selain masih labil, hal-hal tersebut disebabkan oleh pergaulan buruk dan berbagai bentuk kenakalan remaja. Bagi gereja, kehidupan remaja milenial merupakan tantangan berat sekaligus peluang besar karena mereka adalah gereja masa depan. Untuk membangun karakter remaja milenial dalam menghadapi tantangan di zaman yang dinamis ini, maka istilah bible people dapat menjadi solusi bagi penguatan identitas diri. Pertumbuhan iman sangat diperlukan dalam membentuk watak yang sehat dengan membiasakan diri membaca Alkitab. Sebab pribadi yang dibangun atas dasar Firman Tuhan tidak hanya memperoleh pengetahuan dan nasehat verbal tetapi memiliki akar keimanan sebagai panduan terhadap pola pikir, sikap, tindakan serta keputusan yang diambil.
