RKPDES is a yearly Village Development Work-Plan in Indonesia. It is also part of the whole Indonesian development planning schemes. The quality of development planning document reflects the ability of the team in interpreting the legal guidelines. If the document quality is good, it will correlate to the implementation of sustainable development. This paper describes the facts of limited understanding of the RKPDES team of Bumiaji Village, Batu Indonesia, during the drafting document processes. Therefore, it affects the proper quality of RKPDES as well as the village development. This research uses qualitative method aimed to capture holistic facts of the social definition of the team member towards the RKPDES. The research subjects are the RKPDES team member of Bumiaji Village, and the data was collected through an in-depth interview. In addition to the interview, observation, and comprehensive study of the drafting processes of RKPDES were carried out. The framework applies the sociological paradigm of Social Definition in which it is closely related to the interpretative understanding of each RKPDES team member towards the legal guidelines of development planning. There are several factors that influence these facts, such as the minimum capacity of the team members, sociological aspects of community and political interest of related stakeholders. The findings of the study reveal that the limited social understanding of the RKPDES is influenced by the mindset of the team members in addressing Social Definition toward the village development process. The reluctance of the team members to study also leads to the failure to comprehend the regulations and development planning procedures. Besides, they are not adequately assisted by the upper level of government units. These situations result in unfortunate and shortened village developments at the implementation phase.

The research aims to find out and examine: 1) How is the view of education communication and human relations viewed from a religious perspective? 2) How is the view of education-based communication and human relations viewed from a philosophical point of view 3) How is communication and human relations education viewed from a psychological perspective? 4) How are communication and human relations in education viewed from the perspective of sociology and 5) Alternative perspectives for building communication and human relations education. The research method used is the library survey method as a method and technique of data collection by collecting various available literature for theoretical studies. Theoretically, the data collected by the researcher can be analyzed using content analysis techniques to "peel" the data collected when considering the various literature collected in the early stages of the research. The results of the research show that in terms of communication and human relations, as the positivism paradigm gives the view that communication is a process, there is cause and effect, reflected in the sender of the message/massage (communicator/encoder) to change knowledge (attitude or behavior) as a passive recipient of the message/massage (communicant/decoder). In fostering human relations, the existence of each individual within the organization is recognized and respected. In organizations, humans have an important role in fostering relationships, both formal and informal, to create good and harmonious cooperation to achieve predetermined goals based on mutual understanding and mutual respect. From the discussion, this paper concludes that communication and human relations are something that cannot be looked at in one eye in the context of organizational communication to achieve organizational goals.

Indonesia merupakan negara yang kaya akan berbagai macam suku, agama, budaya, bahasa, dan ras. Hal ini disebabkan oleh banyaknya pulau yang terdapat di Indonesia, dengan adanya keberanekaragaman tersebut membuat masyarakat dituntut untuk mengembangkan sikap toleransi antar-sesama. Toleransi dalam kehidupan keberagaman sangat diperlukan, terutama dalam pergaulan hidup antara umat beragama yang didasarkan pada setiap agama menjadi sebuah tanggung jawab bagi setiap pemeluknya dan memiliki bentuk ibadah (ritual), memiliki sebuah tata cara yang ditaklifkan (dibebankan). Objek dari penelitian ini adalah penanaman sikap toleransi antar umat beragama yang terdapat di Dusun Bororejo Desa Dadaplangu beserta makna yang terkandung dalam setiap elemen acara. Sedangkan subjek yang menjadi subjek adalah seluruh warga Dusun Bororejo. Untuk memperoleh data penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dengan latarbelakang agama yang berbeda, serta penanaman sikap toleransi yang dilakukan antar setiap individunya menjadikan setiap warganya memahami mengenai makna dari sebuah perbedaan, yang menyadarkan bahwa negara Indonesia memiliki beberapa agama yang sudah diakui oleh pemerintah dan kita harus menghormati antar sesama agama.
