Metalinguistic evaluators and pragmatic strategies in selected hate-inducing speeches in Nigeria

Abstract: Hate-inducing language, which has become a recurrent decimal in Nigerian socio-political discourse, is not unconnected to the deep-seated boundaries existing amongst different ethnic groups in Nigeria.
