Microstructural and microwave shielding characteristics of water‐soluble polypyrrole–polyvinyl alcohol–graphite oxide core–shell nanocomposites

Abstract: This article reports on a facile route for the preparation of polypyrrole–polyvinyl alcohol–graphite oxide nanocomposites through the polymerization of pyrrole with different concentration (wt%) of graphite oxide using ammonium persulfate as an oxidant. The synthesized nanocomposites were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and their surface morphologies were studied by scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy.
