Ductile Ti in Ti/Al3Ti laminated composites only improves the plasticity of Al3Ti, but does not increase the strength of Al3Ti essentially. The silicon carbide particles have excellent properties such as low density, low expansion, high hardness, high stiffness, high elastic modulus and isotropy, which can be used in layered composite Ti/Al3Ti to further improve its strength. In this paper, the SiC particle-reinforced Ti/Al3Ti laminated composites were prepared by ball milling, and its microstructure was characterized by scanning electron microscope(SEM), energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS) and other testing methods, and the phase was calibrated by X-ray diffractometer. The physical and mechanical properties were tested, and the fracture mechanism of SiCp-Ti/Al3Ti laminated composites was analyzed.
