Mining Community Empowerment (A Study in Mine-Producing Areas of East Java Province, Indonesia)

Abstract: East Java is a province rich of oil and gas resources with total reserves of 249,19 million barrels of oil and 4,32 TCF of gas. Some oil and gas mining companies operating in large scales in the area of East Java, among others are; Exxon Mobil Oil, Pertamina, Santos, Petrochina, and Indo-Pacific.
