“…We assume that in each of the two modes the engine is controlled by the mode-specific controller and introduce the correction module which helps the controllers during switching. For illustrative purposes we assumed that the engine was controlled in the 2-stroke mode by the controller presented in [15] and designed a similar PI controller with a feedforward mapping for the 4-stroke mode.
