The purpose of this study is to develop a form of passing down technique skill test in a sensor-based volleyball game. This research is a research and development (R&D) research. The research steps are: Potential and Problems, Data Collection, Product Design, Design Validation, Design Revision, Product Trial, Product Revision, and User Trial. This development research is first validated by material experts and media experts. The product trial is carried out on volleyball extracurricular students at SMA Nusantara in the open field of PBVSI Deli Serdang, as many as 14 students. Small group test of 7 students, and large group test of 14 students. Type of data collection is with the instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The results obtained from the validation results (a) material experts amounted to 98.3% categorized as very feasible; (b) 98.3% of media experts are categorized as very eligible; (c) small group trial of 86.9% of students in the very appropriate category, (d) large group trial of 91% of students in the very eligible category. The product produced in this development is a sensor and wall target application which is equipped with a user manual. This sensor tool has been declared “very feasible” to be used as a medium or means to help automatically calculate points in the volleyball underpass test. This study also finds some limitations that can be taken into consideration for further research, namely the number of samples studied is still relatively small and supporting facilities are inadequate so that there is a slight delay in taking the exam. Based on the limitations contained in this study, it is hoped that in the future partner researchers can use this research as a reference material for contributions in their research, so that perfection in technological developments in the world of volleyball is achieved.

The rapid development of science and technology has an impact on the development of sports, both achievement sports, educational sports, and recreational sports. The use of technology and sport science is very important for the advancement of sports achievements. One of these implementations is the stage of testing and measuring physical conditions using instruments with a low level of human error. The purpose of this study was to analyze the need for the development of a digital technology-based push up test as an instrument for arm muscle strength. This research is a survey research that uses a quantitative descriptive approach. 256 respondents with a background as a lecturer at the Faculty of Sports and Health Undiksha, as well as athletes from Buleleng Regency, Badung Regency, Bangli Regency and Denpasar City filled out a questionnaire consisting of six statements. Questionnaires are used to determine the opinion of respondents on the needs of the developed instrument. Based on the results of the survey, the majority of respondents experienced difficulties in doing push up according to the procedure, and they stated that the manual push up test was prone to human error during calculations. Thus, all respondents agree with the development of digital technology-based arm muscle strength instruments. Referring to the results of the research above, this data can be one of the basic considerations in the development of a digital technology-based push up test which is intended in the process of measuring arm muscle strength with a good level of validity.

“…Based on the results of product validation in the form of a test tool for the upper and lower pass, a sensor-based volleyball game is suitable for use and then a revision of the model is carried out according to the advice given by the expert. This revision makes the test product better and more valid so that it could be applied to research subjects, other studies [21] concluded that this digital-based volleyball up-and-down passing ability test tool can be feasible or can be used, From these results, it can be interpreted that the volleyball bottom passing model for beginner athletes of Uniska MAB Banjarmasin students developed by researchers received a positive response and could be applied to beginner athletes of Uniska students [22] Other research on the development of volleyball tests is based on these results, it can be concluded that this microcontroller-based volleyball service test kit is effective of the beginners andprofessional athletes [23] based on the results of research and development of performance appraisal instruments with a peer rating system model in volleyball games that have been developed have met the validity requirements reliability and practicality, and is expected to be an evaluation tool that can be used [24], it can be concluded that the development of a sensor-based volleyball passing test is feasible based on the results of expert validation, [25] the results of the analysis became the basis for developing a sensor-based upper and lower pass test tool for volleyball games that would be given to research subjects, and this study for the first step to do the development of passing test.…”
