“…Nasonova et al [53] coated TiO 2 thin films on the glass beads (3-mm-diameter, acting as dielectric material) by the rotating cylindrical PCVD (plasma chemical vapor deposition) reactor and investigated SO 2 removal in a NTP-DBD reactor packed with the TiO 2 -coated glass beads. A cylinder-wire type pellet packed-bed reactor was used, with a copper road wire located at the center of the glass tube (powered electrode); the outside wall of the reactor was wrapped with stainless steel mesh (ground electrode).…”

“…The influence of film thickness on the SO 2 removal efficiency was studied under an air stream at an initial concentration of SO 2 of 260 ppm, a pulse frequency of 900 Hz, a residence time of 1 s and an applied peak voltage in the interval 5-15 kV. The reactor configuration was the same described above for the works of Nasonova et al [53]. SO 2 removal efficiency displayed an increasing trend with the applied peak voltage, whatever the selected film thickness; however, such efficiency grew with TiO 2 thickness until the value of 600 nm and then, a decrease in SO 2 conversion with a further thickness rise was recorded.…”

“…Polymers filled with HGB usually possess low shrinkage rate than neat PP and have good processing properties. [3][4][5][6][7] In recent years, attention has been paid to the research of PP/HGB composites because the beads obviously broaden the applications of this inexpensive matrix. However, it is well known that one of the major problems associated with the inorganic fillers is that they are not compatible with a polymer matrix.…”

“…In the past two decades, techniques for simultaneous removal of SO 2 and NO have attracted wide attention because of the advantages of a simple device and small space, mainly including non‐thermal plasma, catalytic oxidation and the advanced oxidation wet scrubber . Among these, the oxidation method is one of the most promising processes to realize the simultaneous removal of SO 2 and NO .…”
