“…Nob, an active flavonoid of citrus fruits, has been demonstrated to aid in the improvement of LPS-induced acute lung injury by the suppression of the inflammation response in a rat model [46], inhibition of hepatic oxidative stress and fibrosis in an obese mouse model [19], protection against cardiac dysfunction in diabetic mice [47], and alleviation of acute ischemia/reperfusion in the kidney of mice [48] or following streptozotocin (STZ)induced diabetic nephropathy in rats [49].
