Numerical analysis of thermal conductive hybrid nanofluid flow over the surface of a wavy spinning disk

Abstract: A three dimensional (3D) numerical solution of unsteady, Ag-MgO hybrid nanoliquid flow with heat and mass transmission caused by upward/downward moving of wavy spinning disk has been scrutinized. The magnetic field has been also considered. The hybrid nanoliquid has been synthesized in the presence of Ag-MgO nanoparticles. The purpose of the study is to improve the rate of thermal energy transmission for several industrial purposes. The wavy rotating surface increases the heat transmission rate up to 15%, comp… Show more

“…In addition, Ahmadian et al . 29 used homotopy solution and PCM to show the influence of 3D unsteady flow caused by the wavy rotating disk and magnetic field on hybrid nanofluids Ag/MgO-Water. Ahmadian et al 30 studied the Brownian motion and thermophoresis effect on maxwell nanofluid between two stretchable horizontal rotating disks under a magnetic field.…”

“…For the last few decades, heat transfer through hybrid nanofluid has become a great research field of fluid mechanics. Heat transmission through hybrid nanofluids has a variety of industrial uses, including concrete heating and hot blended pavement in the concrete pavement sector, atomic reactors in the chemical industry, plastic factories for electric and mobile equipment and steam turbines, and glass fiber fabrication in the fiberglass industry 12 . Nanofluids are solid-liquid mixtures that have a carrier medium, such as base fluid, as well as nano-sized particles.…”

“…Ahmadian et al . 9 , 10 explored at a 3D computational model for Ag-MgO hybrid nanofluid flow with energy and mass transmission generated by an irregular fluctuating spinning disc. The configuration of a circulating disc is thought to have a favorable effect on thermal energy and velocity transmission.…”
