Since 2010 the city of São Bernardo do Campo has searched to develop network care and articulation among the different health services. As one of its strategies the position of Health Supporter was created, which has as functions the matrix support, the institutional support and promotion of the net articulation, contributing to the production and comprehensive care management. The objectives of the research were to know and analyse the perception of the professionals of the Basic Health Units on the performance of the Health Supporter in the work processes of the Family Health Strategy teams and as articulator with health services net in the city. The study was qualitative nature and had a descriptive character. The research was carried out through the application of 13 semistructured individual interviews with closed and opened questions applied to the professionals of the Basic Health Units of 2 territories, one of minor and other with bigger social vulnerability. For the qualitative analysis ot the content of the interviews the method of Collective Subject Discourse was adopted. From the total interviewees, 8 were female and 5 male, the ages ranged between 27 and 52 years old and the working time in the Primary Health Attention from 2 to 18 years. The themes identified in the interviews were classified in 5 categories: Vision of the professionals about the Health Supporter, New views from the multiprofissional knowledge, Shared construction of the Professional practice, Net articulation, Moments and changes of the attributions of the Health Supporter. The categories originated, in total, 11 central ideas. From the central categories and ideas it was possible to study the vision of professionals about the work of the Health Supporter in the work processes and in the net articulation, in addition to providing subsidies for improving the work of this professional with a view to improving the work processes of the health teams, optimization of the available resources, and specially the improvement of quality of care to the population.
