“…It is an effective means to inhibit the ame by adding inorganic alkali metal salts such as sodium salt or potassium salt (Jiang et al 2019;Sridhar Iya et al 1975;Birchall 1970). The inorganic alkali metal salts decompose into M• radicals during burning and react with H• and OH• radicals in gas, terminating the chain reaction of ame generation (Hindiyarti et al 2006;Babushok et al 2017;Shen et al 1991;Omar et al 2022).
