Parlebas (1992) recognized three trends in sociometry as a methodology of experimental research, namely a disciplined and rigorous approach that seeks to explore the socio-emotional structure of groups, interpersonal and relational dynamics, as a psycho-sociological and pedagogical instrument and as a therapeutic intervention that allows individuals to participate in the decision-making process that directly affects their life within the group. Sociometry confirms the existence of characteristic patterns of organization within a group, their expressions and settings or configurations.…”
