Pathophysiological mechanisms caused by adverse influence of climatic and geographical factors of the Arctic on human health and technologies of rehabilitation medicine

Abstract: Adverse conditions in the Arctic North provoke the development of various diseases, primarily cardiovascular and respiratory systems, metabolism. The main etiological factors are hypoxia, low temperatures, geomagnetic storms, desynchronosis, stress, impaired microcirculation, pathogenetic changes in hormonal regulation of metabolic reactions.
