This pandemic has had a considerable impact, disrupting education. However, the implementation of learning must continue. So, for that, teachers are required to be able to make learning videos that are used as practical, exciting learning media so that they are easy to understand. This is so that students can learn as effectively and efficiently as possible in their homes. The purpose of this is so that teachers can improve their ability to make learning media in the form of learning videos using the Kinemaster learning application. Since April 2020, there have been 100,000,000 students ranging from elementary school to tertiary levels have experienced this pandemic, which caused them to be unable to carry out face-to-face learning. Teachers and students are required to adapt to online or online learning. Moreover, of course, teachers are demanded to be more creative, active and innovative in providing materials or teaching materials later; therefore, the ability of teachers to process IT is very much needed in supporting this online learning. Good IT skills and utilization in online learning are required at all levels of education. Still, in online or online learning, videos or creative teaching materials are very much needed, which will take advantage of the sophistication of IT.

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru dalam membuat video pembelajaran yang manarik dan keratif. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakana secara tatap muka dengan metode ceramah dan praktik. Kegiatan pelatihan ini diawali dengan dengan melakukan obesrvasi langsung, praktik langsung dan tahap evaluasi kegiatan pelatihan. Peserta kegiatan pelatihan ini merupakan semua guru SDN 1 Mawambunga Kabupaten Buton Selatan. Hasil dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah 1) Peserta pelatihan mendapatkan tambahan pengatahuan baru dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran. 2) peserta pelatihan dapat membuat video pembelajaran yang menarik. 3) Peserta termotivasi dalam menggunakan teknologi selama proses pembelajaran.

“…Teknologi Informasi khususnya video merupakan media yang sangat membantu dalam komunikasi kepada anak yang berkebutuhan khusus, beberapa penelitian memberikan hasil positif terhadap peran video pembelajaran di dalam penyampaian materi kepada anak berkebutuhan khusus, diantaranya pembelajaran video pembelajaran BISINDO yang menarik dan dirancang untuk anak tunarungu [3], Pembelajaran PAI menggunakan strategi video learning dalam materi shalat bagi tunagrahita di SLB Rindang Kasih [4], dan persentase kelulusan minimal (KKM) setelah menggunkan media video tutorial yakni sebesar 84,2% [5]. The Covid-19 pandemic has forced the government to enforce a physical distancing policy which is the basis for implementing learning from home. This is also something that must be applied to students at SLB Negeri 2 Bantul. The use of information technology that applies suddenly, not infrequently, makes educators and students surprised and limping in its implementation. However, the learning process must continue so that teachers at SLB Negeri 2 Bantul are challenged to create a learning media that students with special needs can understand. The limited knowledge of teachers at SLB Negeri 2 Bantul in making learning media causes the need for training and mentoring of learning media. One of the technological developments that we can use for making learning media is an application for video editing. This application can help to make videos to improve the quality and effectiveness of learning. Application users are expected to support the activities of SLB Negeri 2 Bantul to participate in competitions and promotions as routine activities that must be done every year. The two needs of these teachers are what make them collaborate to implement training programs based on the required classes. The implementation uses the Classical method and Practices using video recording applications and equipment. Community service will be carried out at SLB Negeri 2 Bantul to support improving skills in using software from basic to advanced levels. The result of this training is that the participants can make their own video creations so that they are eligible to be included in competitions and make video advertisements more professional.
