The Covid-19 pandemic that has occurred since the end of 2019 until now, requires people to reduce activities outside the home, and increase activities at home. This makes people's productivity levels decrease. One of the efforts to reduce the activity of residents gathering and doing activities outside the home is to provide alternative activities at home. This community service activity is intended to provide education and skills for hydroponic strawberry cultivation as an alternative activity at home that is healthy for humans and the environment around the residents of Larangan Kulon Village, Mojotengah District, Wonosobo Regency, Central Java. To achieve this goal, several method steps were used, namely observation, lectures/counseling, demonstrations, and direct practice of the application of hydroponic strawberry plants. The service activity succeeded in transferring the knowledge and skills of hydroponic strawberry cultivation to the participants. Participants' understanding of concepts, tools and materials, cultivation and care methods and types of hydroponics is very good, as evidenced by 78.13% of participants getting a score of ≥80. Hydroponic cultivation of strawberry plants can be practiced by participants and can be used as an alternative to productive activities at home

Hydroponically planting vegetables is something new for most of the KKNM participants. KKNM activities are carried out for 30 working days based on modules and WhatsApp Group. The vegetable cultivation module with a hydroponic system using used bottles is systematically arranged, equipped with pictures to make it easy for each KKNM participant to implement. WhatsApp Group is used as a means of discussion and consultation. This virtual KKNM activity aims to produce vegetables through a hydroponic system from used bottles and distribute harvested vegetables to the community. The implementation of the activity begins with the preparation of tools and materials, sowing seeds, preparing planting media, maintaining plants, until harvesting. Finally, the distribution of crops to the closest neighbors. The results showed that used plastic bottles can be used as a hydroponic planting medium with the axis system. Transplanting the seedlings to the used wick bottle media that has been filled with nutrients was carried out on the 12th day. Plant maintenance is carried out by periodically controlling the nutritional condition. Harvesting and distribution of vegetables was carried out on the 25th day after transplanting. This Virtual KKNM activity is proven to be able to increase participants' knowledge and skills, and to inspire people to do the same.

Hidroponik adalah salah satu cara bercocok tanam yang inovatif untuk diterapkan masyarakat di masa sekarang. Proses penerapan hidroponik dilakukan dengan sangat sederhana dan tidak memerlukan banyak tempat. Selain itu, banyak keuntungan yang bisa didapatkan melalui bercocok tanam hidroponik. Di masa pandemi covid-19 ini, banyak masyarakat yang bekerja dari rumah sehingga banyak waktu luang yang dimiliki. Oleh sebab itu, dilakukan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yaitu Pelatihan Workshop Hidroponik untuk masyarakat Desa Kasri Kabupaten Malang. Adanya pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produktifitas msayarakat Kasri di masa pandemic Covid-19. Tema yang diusung adalah berhidroponik dengan memanfaatkan barang-barang bekas yang mudah ditemui di sekitar tempat tinggal seperti penggunaan botol plastik dan kain flannel bekas. Pelatihan workshop yang dilakukan tidak hanya penyampaian materi saja, tetapi juga melakukan praktik hidroponik secara langsung dengan menggunakan teknik wick system. Proses praktik yang dilakukan mulai dari penyemaian hingga pembibitan. Kegiatan ini berhasil dilakukan diukur dari fakta peserta yang bergabung mampu membuat hidroponik dengan bahan dasar barang bekas. Adapun tindakan lanjutan dari program ini adalah menjadikan hidroponik sebagai komersil bisnis baru bagi masayarakat Kasri sehingga bisa meningkatkan perekonomian mereka. Abstract: Hydroponics is one of the innovative farming methods that society applies today. The process of applying hydroponics is very simple and does not require a lot of space. In addition, there are many benefits that can be obtained through hydroponic cultivation. During the Covid-19 pandemic, many people work from home so they have a lot of free time. Therefore, Community Service activities were carried out, namely Hydroponic Workshop Training for the people of Kasri Village, Malang Regency. This training is expected to increase the productivity of the Kasri community during the Covid-19 pandemic. The theme carried is hydroponic by utilizing used items that are easily found around the residence, such as the use of used plastic bottles and flannels. Workshop training is carried out not only in delivering material, but also conducting direct hydroponic practice using the wick system technique. The practical process is carried out from seeding to seeding. This activity was successfully carried out as measured by the fact that the participants who joined were able to make hydroponics using used materials as basic materials. The follow-up action of this program is to make hydroponics a new commercial business for the Kasri community so that they can improve their economy.
