In general, science subjects in the lower grades (grades 1 to 3) are not in curriculum 13, but in fact, science subject matter is always present in every learning theme. At the age of grades 1 to 3 children begin to interact with their peers and the environment around them. To develop the child's social spirit, a lower grade teacher is certainly very good if learning uses cooperative methods. One of the alternative cooperative learning models that can be used by teachers in the lower grades is the STAD and jigsaw cooperative learning methods. Writing this scientific paper aims to find out how the STAD and Jigsaw learning models are applied in the lower classes. The method used in this scientific writing is a type of qualitative research that takes a background at MI Ma'arif Caruy. The results showed that the STAD and Jigsaw learning methods in the lower grades could be applied well even though they were still accompanied by the teacher. Students could collaborate with their group mates or with other groups with the help of worksheets that had been prepared by the teacher, so that students could learn science material well. can work together, respect each other, appreciate and help each other if his friends are having difficulties.

Kompetensi pengetahuan merupakan salah satu aspek yang harus dicapai dalam pembelajaran. Mencapai kompetensi tersebut memerlukan peran aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran sangat penting. Namun terkadang hal tersebut tidak dapat tercapai dikarenakan strategi pembelajaran yang tidak sesuai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division berbantuan media poster dalam pembelajaran IPA siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen yaitu quasi experiment design (eksperimen semu). Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kompetensi pengetahuan IPA sedangkan teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen adalah 88,875 dan 71,767 pada kelas kontrol, terlihat dari hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan diperoleh thitung (9,135) > ttabel (2,000), maka hipotesis diterima. Hasil penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division berbantuan media poster memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan IPA kelas V di sekolah dasar.

Student of class VII at MTs Al-Khoirot don’t have critical thinking skills 21st century. The purpose of the study is to determine the effect of using poster media on students' critical thinking skills in social studies subjects for class VII at MTs Al-Khoirot and to determine the effectiveness of applying poster media to social studies subjects for class VII at MTs Al-Khoirot. Using a quantitative method of the type of Quasi Experiment. Questionnaires are used as research instruments that have been tested for validity and reliability are used as data collection in this study. Hypothesis testing with Independent t-Test, obtained a tcount greater than ttable (tcount > ttable = 2,939 > 1,697) with a significance value (sig.2-tailed) 0.006 < 0.05. So the proposed hypothesis is accepted, it is concluded that the use of poster media affects students' critical thinking skills in social studies subjects for class VII at MTs Al-Khoirot. Paired Test Sample t-Test on critical thinking skills on the distribution of 1 and 2 shows the value of Sig.(2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 so that it can be concluded that the average critical thinking ability of students in the experimental class and control class for the distribution of the initial questionnaire and The final result has a difference, the difference in average proves that the Social Studies subject for class VII at MTs Al-Khoirot is effective in using poster media.
