This study aims to empirically examine the Lapau Library in improving reading habits for the community. This research was conducted in Nagari Tuo Pariangan, Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra. The Reading Corner "Lapau" operates in this village since 2018 and has made a significant contribution to the community in Pariangan. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of the Lapau Library program. In addition, it is also to find out the problems in managing reading corners such as the Lapau Library. Qualitative methods were used to conduct this study. Data were collected through interviews and observations at the site. After analyzing the data, this study has implications, that the existence of the reading corner "Lapau" is an effort to improve people's reading habits. Then the reading corner "Lapau" also makes a significant contribution to the community to expand knowledge, improving economic welfare, and can provide important information to the community, and also the reading corner "Lapau" is the best strategy to implement social inclusion in society.
