There are still some areas where students decide not to continue to higher education after graduating from high school due to various factors. This study aims to attract a student to want to take higher education.The design in this study used a descriptive method through a qualitative approach. The samples taken in this study were as many as 26 respondents via a google form. The instruments used are observation sheets and interviews.From the results of data testing, it was found that the areas with a lot of interest in continuing to study were mostly only in big cities, which became an obstacle to their interest in studying for regional students, namely because of the lack of access to information, as well as parental concerns about limited funds.

Character education is the basis in forming a moral human being. Character education is very important in 21st century education so it needs to be applied to formal and non-formal institutions. This also has an impact on Special Schools (SLB) to instill character education. There are still some deaf students who have not developed daily behavior that reflects a positive character at SLBS B Jati Wiyata Dharma Tuban. This study aims to describe the implementation development and challenges faced in Character Education for the students with hearing impairment at SLBS B Jati Wiyata Dharma Tuban. The type of research used is qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of participant observation and documentation. This study uses the data analysis model proposed by Miles and Huberman which is often referred to as the interactive data analysis method. There are three activities in qualitative data analysis, namely the data reduction stage, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The results showed 1) the development of character education through PHBI activities, competitions, clean Fridays, vocational programs, and integration in Civics subjects 2) the challenges faced during the implementation of character education were that deaf students had difficulty understanding material in the form of reading the history of Indonesian independence. 3) the solution to this problem is to use mind map media.

Validity of Stem Integrated Static Fluid E-Module to Improve Student Learning Outcomes

The rapid development of technology and information brings many impacts in various fields, especially in the field of education. Student learning activities with digital technology in learning cannot be separated, so students are expected to master technology such as electronic modules. Student learning outcomes seen from the final semester exams for class XI MIPA students are quite adequate with an average score of 5 classes, namely 62, so it is necessary to follow up with the manufacture of STEM integrated static fluid electronic modules to improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of the STEM integrated module with professional static fluid material flip pdf software. The research method used by Hannafin and Peck's instructional development model is focused on product-oriented learning design. The instrument used in the study was an electronic module validation sheet that involved 5 lecturers as product validators. Data analysis showed that the development of electronic teaching materials scored 85.63 which belonged to the category of good use. Therefore, the design of the STEM-integrated static fluid material electronic module can help online learning activities during the pandemic. Furthermore, this study is suggested to investigate the practicality and effectiveness of electronic modules.
