Perfil sérico de alguns constituintes sanguíneos de ovelhas da raça Dorper no período gestacional e pós-parto

Abstract

RESUMO: Mediante a inexistência de estudos do perfil bioquímico de ovelhas da raça Dorper, objetivou-se avaliar alguns parâmetros sanguíneos em 20 ovelhas nos períodos pré-parto, parto e pós-parto. As ovelhas eram criadas em sistema semiextensivo. A partir do 90 dias de gestação, iniciou-se coleta de material biológico para análises laboratoriais, que foram efetivadas em diferentes tempos: -60, -30, -21, -15, -7 antes do parto; no momento do parto; 7, 14 e 28 dias pós-parto. Amostras de sangue foram coletadas por venopunção jugular para obtenção de soro e plasma, respectivamente. Variações significativas foram observadas na concentração sanguínea de proteína total (p < 0,0001), globulina (p < 0,0001), ureia (p < 0,0001), creatinina (p < 0,0001), glicose (p=0,0180), colesterol total (p < 0,0001) e triglicerídeo (p < 0,0001). Na análise de relação entre o conjunto de variáveis em relação à concentração sanguínea de frutosamina, verificou-se que esta apresentou correlação com a proteína total (r=0,30), a albumina (r=0,32), o colesterol (r=0,25) e a glicose plasmática (r=0,23). O período gestacional influencia significativamente no perfil metabólico de parâmetros bioquímicos séricos, como PT, globulina, creatinina, ureia, colesterol, triglicérides e glicose plasmática, além de que estes podem ser utilizados como valores de referência para a espécie, bem como ferramentas de diagnóstico de transtornos metabólicos que ocorrem no período de transição. ABSTRACT:Because there are no studies on the biochemical profile of Dorper ewes, this project aimed to evaluate some blood parameters in 20 ewes during the pre-natal, delivery, and post-partum periods. The ewes were raised in semi extensive system. As of 90 days of gestation, we began collecting the biological material for laboratory testing, and these analyses were performed at different times : -60, -30, -21, -15, and -7 before delivery; at birth; 7, 14 and 28 postpartum. Blood samples were collected by jugular venipuncture to obtain serum and plasma. Significant variations were observed in the blood concentration of total protein (p < 0.0001), globulin (p<0.0001), urea (p < 0.0001), creatinine (p < 0.0001), plasma glucose (p=0.0180), total cholesterol (p < 0.0001), and triglycerides (p < 0.0001). No significant effects were observed with respect to albumin (p=0.2551) and fructosamine (p=0.1603). In the correlation analysis between the set of variables in relation to blood concentrations of fructosamine, the following relevant correlation coefficients were observed: total protein (r=0.30), albumin (r=0.32), cholesterol (r=0.25), and plasma glucose (r=0.23). SOARES et al (2014), with sheep of the breed Dorper and SANTOS et al (2014) with Morada Nova sheep observed a decrease in postpartum creatinine, differently from Moxotó goats.
