Perforation of Sigmoid Colon Cancer during Pregnancy

Abstract: Colon cancer during pregnancy is rare. We report about a case of perforated sigmoid colon cancer in a 24-year-old woman in the 28th week of gestation. The clinical symptoms, histological characteristics and therapy options for this tumour are presented and discussed. The diagnostic features in pregnancy are reviewed.
