Abstract:Wild Indigo or Sharpunkha occurs throughout the India and most ancient part. It is widely used in the treatment of diabetes, rheumatism, asthma and liver disorders, diarrhea and wound healing. Pharmacognostic evaluation is important tool for standardization of this plant.
