“…Second, PD treatment (15, 30, and 60 µg/mL) was shown to significantly suppress the expression of IL-6, IL-1β, and TNF-α induced by MG in chicken embryo fibroblast (DF-1) cells. Furthermore, the MG-induced levels of TLR6, MyD88, and NF-κB were also significantly decreased by PD treatment, which restrained the MG-induced NF-κB-p65 nuclear translocation [292].…”

“…Interestingly, baicalin was reported to restore the mRNA expression of mitochondrial dynamics-related genes and maintain the balance between mitochondrial inner and outer membranes, as well as upregulate the Nrf2/HO-1 pathway and suppress the NF-κB pathway in the spleen of MG-infected chicken [294]. Similar protective effects of baicalin [295] and polydatin, a resveratrol glycoside isolated from Polygonum cuspidatum [292], against MG-induced inflammation injury in chicken embryonic lung were associated with their inhibition of the TLR6/MyD88/NF-κB pathway.…”

“…Resveratrol treatment also reduced the expression of the inflammatory factors, glycation end product receptor (RAGE), NF-кB (P65) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH) oxidase 4 (NOX4) and improved the renal pathological structure [26]. In addition, as the natural precursor of resveratrol, polydatin (a resveratrol glycoside isolated from Polygonum cuspidatum) significantly downregulated IL-6, IL-1β, and TNF-α expression induced by Mycoplasma gallisepticum both in vivo and in vitro, suggested that polydatin also has anti-inflammatory effect [27].…”

“…Moreover, Polydatin reduced ROS and attenuated oxidative stress through the Keap1/Nrf2/ARE pathway in Graves' orbitopathy [5]. Polydatin suppressed the inflammatory cytokines secretion, and restrained the TLR6/MyD88/NF-kB pathway by Mycoplasma gallisepticum infection (a main cause of chronic respiratory disease) in vivo and in vitro [25]. Another study showed that Polydatin weakens cadmium-induced oxidative stress through inducing SOD activity and regulating mitochondrial function in Musca domestica larvae [26].…”
