Polymorphism of CYP1A1 (Ile462Val) Gene Related to Uterine Myoma in Malays Ethnicity of South Sumatera

Abstract: Myoma uteri related to the interaction between genes, hormones, growth factors, cytokines, and environment. Myomas are not found before menarche, whereas after menopause only 10% of myomas grow. The development of uterine myoma depends on estrogen.
