The development of an asynchronous data processing system is usually based on dedicated asynchronous elements. Advanced general-purpose microprocessors have a set of features facilitating designing of an asynchronous unit. The paper presents an architecture of the system implemented on Texas Instruments MSP430 micro-controllers using a principle of the level-crossing sampling. The system is able to process input signal with maximum frequency kHz f 8 max using sampling level number 7 N . The proposed system is developed for non-stationary signals sampling and processing using nonconventional digital signal processing methods.
