“…Due to the presence of acid metal started to dissolute it and inhibitors used to stop the above process. Among different type of inhibitors green and low cost inhibitors get more attention than the chemical type inhibitors, [23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32][33][34][35][36][37][38][39][40][41] in acid medium these inhibitors adsorbed on the low carbon steel surface through chemisorptions or physiorption or both process. For the development of low cost and eco friendly inhibitors various materials used as corrosion inhibitors including green plant extracts , food additives, crop plan wastes and oral drugs , among this expired drugs used as corrosion inhibitors by using this we lower the disposal cost of expiry drugs and reduce the pollution caused by the expiry drugs.…”

“…Although the selection of natural inhibitors successfully inhibits corrosion activities, the inhibitor remains inadequate to protect the bare metal due to low inhibition efficiency of 53.18 %, according to potentiodynamic polarization measurements. The limitation of the research was addressed by the introduction of Morinda citrifolia [16] and fitted the requirement for low carbon steel protection under the same solution. The work reports an improvement in inhibition of nearly 77 %, with the lowest corrosion rate of 1.385 mpy.…”
