Procedure of Landscape Anthropization Extent Modeling: Implementation for Ukrainian Physic-Geographic Taxons

Abstract: The procedure of anthropization extent modeling for landscapes and/or physic-geographic taxons was implemented for the specified megaregion. It includes Ukrainian physic-geographic zones of mixed and broad-leaved forests and forest-steppe. The spatial data bases (SDB) were organized for the implementation megaregion by appropriate geoinformation processing of up-to-date open digital spatial data sources. The implementation operating scale of anthropization extent for physic-geographic taxons was substantiated … Show more

“…According to the third task of this paper, the developed operating scale of a geosituation was implemented for the selected megaregion. Such an implementation megaregion is the same as we used in our previous publication (Samoilenko et al, 2018b). It consists of Ukrainian physical-geographic zones of mixed (coniferous / broad-leaved) and broad-leaved forests and forest-steppe and their physical-geographic taxons of lower level (Fig.…”

“…Under the principles developed in this paper, the suitable operating scale of the anthropisation extent for the modelling of a geosituation in selected physical-geographic taxons was also used. This operating scale was constructed in a study of Samoilenko et al (2018b). Here it is used in the modified form in Table 3.…”

“…The experience of using geoinformation training models suggests that it is not enough to consider them only as a tool of visualization of training information for its acquisition [22], since these models also serve as a tool of organizing students' independent cognitive activities. This combination reflects the so-called law of consciousness, according to which, students realize only the content of that perceived information which appears to them as an object they act on and which is the purpose of their activity.…”
