“…Another criticism concerns the linkage between the actions of evaluation and financing of the SNPG, a system based on rewards and punishments for the performance of programs to guarantee the entrance/exit, elevation/preservation/fall of concepts, number of scholarships, and volume of financial aid, among others. On the other hand, despite having stimulated the expansion and qualification of postgraduation, the process may also be contributing to the persistence of imbalances and inequalities between researchers, programs, institutions, and regions [15,16,24,25,[28][29][30][31][32][33]. Regarding the methodology used by the SNPG to classify journals (Qualis journals), the specific object of this work, a good portion of the selected literature considers that the assessment process of CAPES overvalues the quantitative over the qualitative and the international over the national/ local [15][16][17]20,21,[24][25][26][27]31,33].…”

“…It appears that the field of Nutrition has not won its identity, relative autonomy, and desired strength [2,[4][5][6], "nor did it create its own evaluation criteria, more in line with the reality of the field" (Olinto et al, p.924) [6], remaining submissive to the main features of the hegemonic system of graduate evaluation, which is focused on quantitative criteria, indices of productivity, citation, visibility, and circulation of the produced knowledge [23][24][25][26][27][28], characteristics of Biomedical Sciences, Exact, and Natural.…”

“…Faz-se a ressalva de que, sobretudo, deve-se manter um olhar atento, vigilante e crítico acerca dos modelos idênticos de avaliação de carreira praticados atualmente para áreas diferentes do conhecimento nas instituições superiores de ensino, com o cuidado de evitar a hegemonização de um único ser/fazer universidade (Bianchetti & Valle, 2014).…”

As pressões crescentes pela produção científica na forma de artigos publicados vêm minando a essência da pesquisa científica em todos os campos do conhecimento.…”
