Office of basic education commission of Thailand firstly declared the indicator for computing science of the students in primary education and secondary education in 2018. The important of computing science is to develop the learners to solve the questions of computing science by using technology correctly. To gain the effective learning management in computing science, the method of evaluation is so important. This research aimed to create the test of solving on computing science for the teachers to use in school and applied in computing sciences in schools and improved better in the future. The evaluation on quality for validity of the test found that the test of solving in computing science gain the item of congruence (IOC) at 1.00 and reliability was show harmonization at the level of “much” (RAI = 0.94).

Given the importance of globalization as well as the need to train skilled and knowledgeable employees for the 21 st century workforce, higher education needs to take a more critical look at the educational practices and instructional methods which lead to improvements in students' essential skills such as self-directed learning. This study sought to examine the effects of project-based learning (PoBL) strategy on students' self-directed learning skills in a system-based education course offered in the educational technology department of Arak University in Iran. In order to achieve this end, a sample of 78 students in the field of educational technology who enrolled in the system-based education course was selected. Subjects were randomly assigned to one of the two groups: the experimental group (PoBL strategy) and control group (conventional teaching strategy). The self-directed learning readiness scale (SDLRS) was administrated three times (i.e. pretest, post-test one, and posttest two). The experimental group received the PoBL strategy and the control group was exposed to conventional teaching (CT) methods. The results of two-way repeated measure ANOVA tests revealed that students who were taught using PoBL strategy performed significantly better in terms of self-directed learning skills than did students who were taught using CT strategy.

Pelajar Kolej Vokasional khususnya dalam bidang Teknologi Kejuruteraan Mekanikal dan Pembuatan (TKMP) kurang pencapaian dalam aspek teori terutamanya dalam penulisan berbentuk ilmiah kerana faktor pendekatan pembelajaran secara konvensional. Matlamat kajian ini adalah untuk membangunkan Modul Pembelajaran Berasaskan Projek (M-PBPj) bagi subjek Projek Tahun Akhir 1 (PTA1) dan menilai kesannya terhadap pencapaian teori pelajar. Reka bentuk kajian ini menggunakan kaedah kuantitatif melalui kuasi-eksperimen kumpulan rawatan dan kumpulan kawalan. Kajian ini melibatkan 91 orang pelajar sebagai sampel di sebuah Kolej Vokasional di negeri Perak, Malaysia. Kuasi-eksperimen digunakan dalam kajian kerana kaedah ini mampu menunjukkan kesan penggunaan pemboleh ubah mengikut dua tempoh masa pra dan pasca. Keberkesanan Modul Pembelajaran Berasaskan Projek (M-PBPj) dinilai melalui Ujian-T sampel berpasangan dan sampel tidak berpasangan. Penyelidik mencadangkan supaya penggunaan Modul Pembelajaran Berasaskan Projek (M-PBPj) ini digunakan dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran bagi subjek Projek Tahun Akhir 1 (PTA1) agar dapat meningkatkan pencapaian teori dalam melaksanakan penulisan ilmiah.
