The purpose of this article is to understand the drivers of parents/students experience from a perspective of relationship quality in order to develop student attraction and retention strategies for school. A qualitative (n = 24) and quantitative study was conducted with primary and secondary data (n = 677) collected by means of a structured questionnaire using sampling from a group of respondents made up of parents and students from 16 high schools located in several states of Brazil. To analyse the data statistical techniques were used, with emphasis on Structural Equation Modelling. The article makes three main contributions to the field. A practical contribution of this study lies in the generation of information to aid the understanding of strategic indicators on the quality of relationships with consumers and the experience of using education services so that they can be applied in student attraction and retention strategies.

This study identifies the relationship structure of an ego-centered network by examining a transnational organization in the telecommunications sector that is oriented toward innovation. The study considers the dimensions of density, centrality, structural equivalence, and relationship content. Following the literature, we correlate the underlying concepts of network innovation substantiated through the technique of network analysis as a research method. The results suggest that the position of organizations in relation to the distance and pathways to other organizations in the network can influence the network's capacity for innovation, conditioned by the strategic positioning of the focal company. This does not seem to be the case with the company considered by this study, as the strategic positioning of the matrix considers only innovative products with a worldwide scope, and not those with a more limited, local, or regional interest. The main contribution of this study is the identification of the relationship structure of a transnational, ego-centered, and innovation-oriented network with the aid of a statistical tool.

Bu çalışmanın amacı Servqual Modeli temelli yükseköğretim hizmet kalitesi ölçüm modellerini ve ölçüm boyutlarını karşılaştırmalı olarak değerlendirmek ve özgün bir stratejik model önerisinde bulunmaktır. Çalışmada betimsel analiz yöntemi benimsenmiştir. Tematik çerçeve yükseköğretimde hizmet kalitesi konusudur. Değerlendirme kapsamındaki tüm çalışmalarda beklenen hizmet kalitesi puanlarının algılanan hizmet kalitesinden yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiş ve bu farkı kapatmaya yönelik stratejik yönetim kararlarına yardımcı bir model önerisinde bulunulmuştur. Bu kapsamda öğrencilerin üniversite yaşamlarına ilişkin beklentileri ve pratik eğitim hayatındaki algıları arasındaki fark, üniversite yaşamı ve eğitimi konusunda geleceğe yönelik öğrenci odaklı geliştirmelerin yapılmasında yardımcı olacaktır. Eğitimde niteliksel dönüşümün ve buna bağlı farklı açılımların sağlanması için gelecek kararlarını şekillendirecek stratejik araçlara gereksinim duyulmaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında takip edilecek sistematik süreç ve önerilen yöntem, sürecin oluşturduğu değerlendirme kaynakları ve çalışma sonucunda ulaşılan bilgiler bu ihtiyaçları karşılayacak içeriğe katkı sağlayacaktır.
