Reduction of Bone Mineral Density in Women of Reproductive Age, Descendants of Those Irradiated as a Result of Nuclear Tests

Abstract: Aim of research: To determine the frequency and degree of decrease in bone mineral density in women of reproductive age who are descendants of persons exposed to radiation as a result of nuclear tests at the Semipalatinsk test site. The study included 383 women, descendants of non-irradiated and irradiated II and III generations in the female line.
