Response of spring barley to PRP SOL application as a complex of mineral inducer process (MIP)

Abstract: Summary. The aim of the application of a PRP SOL complex of MIP bioactive compounds is to improve the soil characteristics by unblocking the potential of the nutrients in the soil and making them available to plants. This fertilizer is used for soil fertilization rather than crop nutrition. The research focused on evaluation of the yield of spring barley after the application of the PRP SOL technology in the fields of the Research and Education Center Gorzyń, at the Experimental Station in Złotniki, in 2007 to… Show more

“…In harmony with the results of Borowiak et al (2016), Sulewska et al (2016) and Wojciechowski (2015), improved soil status could be achieved by means of the application of Neosol. In close correlation with the water regime of the soil (based on the improved soil structure), slight mitigation of the harmful effect of secondary salinization can be figured out, but this effect is highly dependent of the total annual salt load gets into the soil through irrigation.…”

“…Though our experiment is very complex, in this paper our results gained by studying the effect of soil conditioning are described only. The aim of the application of the Neosol soil conditioner is to improve the soil characteristics by unblocking the nutrients in the soil and making them available to plants (Sulewska et al 2016). Soil, where Neosol was applied, showed a higher moisture level, especially in the 0.25 -0.3 m soil depth.…”

“…It enhances the biological activity of the soil, consequently increases soil fertility (I1). The main goal of the application of Neosol is to improve the soil properties through aiding the extraction and transformation of nutrients to forms available by the plants (Sulewska et al 2016). Soil conditioning applied in some consecutive years results in looser and improved soil structure and better cultivability due to the enhanced biological activity and the extended root system (Szűcs et al 2015;Urbanovicova et al 2018).…”

“…According to the producer, the microbiological activity of the soil can be boosted by Neosol (distributed in pellet form) and thus also its fertility [10]. Through the application of Neosol, the soil characteristics can be improved by unblocking the nutrients in the soil [5].…”
