Seed heteromorphism in carolina dayflower (Commelina carolinianaWalter)

Abstract: Carolina dayflower (Commelina caroliniana Walter), infesting soybean (Glycine max L.) fields on northern Kyushu Island, Japan, has seed heteromorphism; that is, it produces two types of seeds: pericarp and naked.
