Selection of red rice (Oryza sativa L.) resistant blast disease

Abstract: Rice crop is one of the major food commodities in Indonesian. However, rice production can decrease due to the blast attack caused by the fungus Pyricularia oryzae. Efforts to reduce blast disease can be done by cultivating local red rice. Red rice has high nutritional and antioxidant content and has resistance to blast disease.
