Abstract:A semi-replication-competent retroviral (s-RCR) vector system in which the gag-pol and env (GALV FMG, gibbon ape leukemia virus fusogenic membrane glycoprotein) genes were split into two separate packageable vectors was developed. These vectors are more efficient than replication-defective retroviral (RDR) vectors in gene delivery and have a higher transgene capacity than replication-competent retroviral (RCR) vectors. For the gag-pol vector construction, internal ribosomal entry site-enhanced green fluorescen… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
