Sialolith of The Submandibular Gland: A Case Report

Abstract: Sialolithiasis is described as the existence of calcified structures in ducts of salivary glands and is the most widespread disease of the salivary glands. 80-95 % of sialoliths occur at the submandibular salivary gland. Sialoliths with an average frequency of occurrence of 12: 1000 are approximately twice as common in men as in women.
