This case study explores the integration of problem-based learning into hotel management education. The study aims to enhance student engagement, motivation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through a 15-session course that includes theoretical knowledge, practical application, and assessment phases. Utilizing CESIM™ hospitality simulation software, the study provides a realistic hotel management scenario for students. The findings suggest that PBL and gamification can significantly improve students' understanding of hotel operations and financial management. This approach is recommended for educators in hospitality education programs to foster a more interactive and engaging learning environment.
