Single-Stage Reconfigurable DC/DC Converter for Wide Input Voltage Range Operation in (H)EVs

Abstract: A single-stage reconfigurable isolated DC/DC converter (1) is proposed for use in hybrid and electric vehicles (EVs and HEVs) to supply a 12 V automotive network from the HV battery. The purpose of the proposed topology is to increase the converter efficiency at the higher voltage range of the HV battery.
