Spatio-temporal evolutionary analysis of the township enterprises of Beijing suburbs using computational intelligence assisted design framework

Abstract: Township and village enterprises (TVEs) are market-oriented public enterprises under the purview of local governments based on townships and villages in the People's Republic of China. TVEs have become a vibrant part of the Chinese economy following the significant expansion during the 1980s reform period. In the mid-2000s, TVEs became an integrated part of Chinese industry after the property rights transition. In this study, we examined the dynamic behaviours of TVEs in the near-inner-outer suburbs; we simula… Show more

“…In this section, an example of reliability allocation of a CNC machine's spindle system was used to illustrate the validity of the method proposed in this paper. The aim is to maximize the fitness function F that yields the minimum of potential risk and manufacturing cost, as defined in Equations (33) and (34), which is fulfilled by using the specially designed toolboxes SwarmBat [42], SECFLAB [43] and SGALAB [44], respectively. The computer facilities for the simulations are an Intel Core i7-5500U 2.4 GHz Intel dual-core processor, Windows 7 flagship x64 service pack 1, an 8.0 GB 1600 MHz dual-channel DDR3L SDRAM, MATLAB R2010a, and the simulation parameters are given in Tables 2 (as given in the appendix) and 3, respectively.…”

“…To fill this gap, this paper proposes a swarm bat algorithm with the variable population (BAVP) as the tool to construct and optimize the proposed approach -fuzzy function-motionaction (FMA) reliability allocation (fFMA), which will be embedded into the computational intelligence-assisted design (CIAD) framework [33], [34]. Integrated consideration of the influence of failures on a system and manufacturing costs requires a delicate decomposition of system structure, a precise decomposition method is proposed in this paper to improve the accuracy of reliability allocation.…”

“…Our future research will focus on the following aspects: (1) the implementation of artificial intelligence tools, such as computational intelligence assisted design framework [35][36][37], to reveal urban/suburban change; (2) the development of operational strategy of highly efficient urban study using big data; (3) high-efficiency visualisation tools to demonstrate the multifractal features, such as augmented reality/virtual reality techniques.…”

“…These can help to realize spatio-temporal modeling of land use, such as spatio-temporal structure, interaction, clustering, autoregression, and so on. Chen [45] established three scenarios and simulated the industrial structure and spatio-temporal evolution of Township and Village Enterprise (TVE) on three scales. This can help to prevent the different development problems of TVEs in Beijing.…”
