Stiffness Characteristics Analysis of Interconnected Hydro-Pneumatic Suspension for Heavy Multi-Axle Vehicles

Abstract: With heavy multi-axle vehicle interconnected suspension system as research object, a mathematical model of elastic force of four-axis interconnected hydro-pneumatic suspension system is established and simulation and bench test are carried out. Based on the mathematical model, the stiffness characteristics of interconnected suspension and independent suspension under different working conditions are compared and analyzed, and the stiffness characteristics of interconnected suspension are also parametrically an… Show more

“…Wang Xu et al utilized a mathematical model of a hydraulic system for interconnected oil-gas suspension to compare the stiffness and damping properties between interconnected and independent suspension, considering both vertical and roll conditions. Additionally, they conducted a parametric analysis to examine the damping characteristics of the interconnected suspension [15]. Liu Qihang investigated the output characteristics of interconnected suspension across various parameters and analyzed the evolving trends of body vibration characteristics.…”

“…Compared to single-chamber suspensions, dualchamber suspensions have better stiffness in the extension stroke. 2 Many scholars in the industry have done a lot of work on the nonlinear characteristics and modeling of hydro-pneumatic suspensions, [3][4][5] and the strong nonlinearity of the elastic element of hydropneumatic suspensions, the use of fractional order is more revealing of the essential characteristics and behavior, and more accurately describes the dynamics of hydro-pneumatic suspensions. And the domestic heavy vehicle overload phenomenon is more common more shorten the service life of the road, poor road friendliness.…”
