“…The increase in energy band gap with increasing annealing temperature can be attributed to quantum confinement of the ZnS crystal in the films. 21 However, energy band gap increased with increased annealing temperature for thin films deposited with 0.3M and 0.5M ZnSO 4 concentrations, while for films deposited with 0.1M and 0.7M concentrations of ZnSO 4 , energy band gap decreased with an increase in annealing temperatures. This is possibly a result of increase in the grain size/crystallite size due to postdeposition annealing treatments.…”
