Self-medication is treatment without a doctor's prescription, based on the 2022 BPS, the percentage of self-medication for the people of Central Sulawesi in 2021 is 85.85%. The purpose of the study was to determine the characteristics of the community who did self-medication, minor illnesses that were treated with self-medication, the profile of over-the-counter (OTC) and OTC limited medicines for self-medication and the level of knowledge of these medicines use for self-medication in the community of Tondo Village. This type of research was descriptive with a sample of 386 respondents who were taken using purposive sampling. Time of data collection during August – November 2021. Based on the results, the respondents characteristics were female (52.3%) aged 26-35 (24.4%), household work (31.1%), history of high school education (46.4%). Minor illnesses that were treated using self-medication were fever (15.54%), ulcer (7.46%), cough (15.54%), flu (18.91%), diarrhea (2.85%), headache (1 .30%), and allergy (0.78%). The profiles of OTC and OTC limited drugs are limited to paracetamol for fever (33.16%), antacids for ulcers (75.70%), Komix® for coughs (28.8%), Mixagrib® for flu (36.99%), Entrostop® for diarrhea (70,00%), Ibuprofen for headaches (100%), and CTM for allergies (100%). Number of pharmacy or drug store was 61.46%. The selection of drugs were based on experience and personal/family usage history (84.46%), and the reason for self-medication was to save treatment costs (47.15%). The level of knowledge on the use of OTC and OTC limited drugs was categorized as good (75.09%). Based on the findings, we can conclude that the level of knowledge on the use of OTC and OTC limited drugs for self-medication of Tondo people is categorized as good.

<p class="Abstract">This paper aims to portray the criteria considered important by Millennials in selecting a café and investigate the gender preference regarding those criteria. The questionnaires were distributed to 100 café visitors. The research results using Rasch analysis showed that ‘comfort’ is generally the most important criterion of a café. Nonetheless, male and female Millennials do not always have a consensus where male Millennials prefer ‘innovativeness’ to other criteria while female Millennials prefer ‘comfort, varied menus, and unique menus’ to others. Other criteria aside from these four criteria are not significantly different among the two groups of gender. This paper gives implication for the culinary businesses in setting strategies targeting the Millennials who are presently the largest population group in Indonesia. This research also benefits any party interested in studying the characteristics and selection criteria of the Indonesian Millennials.</p>

Diare merupakan penyakit yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya frekuensi buang air besar lebih dari tiga kali dalam sehari, disertai dengan perubahan bentuk dan konsistensi tinja yang lebih cair/lunak. Swamedikasi merupakan pengobatan yang dilakukan secara mandiri mulai dari gejala sampai pemilihan dan penggunaan obat. Kesalahan penggunaan obat swamedikasi masih sering terjadi berdasarkan studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan 7 dari 10 responden kurang adanya pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap swamedikasi diare akut mengenai penggunaan obat dan aturan pakai obat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan dan sikap masyarakat terhadap swamedikasi diare akut diRT 001 RW 004 keluarahan poris plawad utara. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling. penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap swamedikasi diare akut dalam kategori baik sebanyak 83 responden (72,81%), cukup baik sebanyak 24 responden (21,05%) dan kurang baik sebanyak 7 responden (6,14%). Sikap masyarakat terhadap swameikasi diare akut dalam kategori baik sebanyak 76 responden (66,67%), cukup baik sebanyak 32 responden (28,07%) dan kurang baik sebanyak 6 responden (5,26%). Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini pengetahuan responden dengan kategori baik sebanyak 83 responden (72,81%) dan sikap responden dengan kategori baik sebanyak 76 responden (66,67%).
