Study on the Choice Model of Passenger Travel in Inter-City Transportation Corridor

Abstract: This paper analyzed the influence factor of passenger travel selection in regional transportation corridor. From the point of inter-city traffic integration and the entire travel chain, introduced generalized cost function, established improved Logit model based on differences of travel mode choice behavior of passenger grouped by the income separately and calibrated the parameters of the model using maximum likelihood method. Finally, a case was made combined with Huizhou-Heyuan inter-city transportation corr… Show more

“…(1) Classification from the perspective of service scope (i) Interregional transportation corridor Based on the analysis of literature [13][14][15], interregional transportation corridors connect important national transport hubs with long distances and are composed of multiple transportation modes. ey are generally the backbone of national or interregional transportation networks and undertake important national transportation tasks, mainly taking on transportation tasks among different urban agglomerations.…”

“…Process Analysis of intercity passengers' Travel. It can be seen from the Fig2.that the whole travel process of the intercity passenger is mainly divided into three stages: first, from the starting point choosing to take the original city's transport tools to the external transport hub; then choosing to take intercity transport to reach destination's external transport hub; last, choosing to take the city's transport of the destination to final destination [7].…”
