Abstract:BACKGROUND: Condyloma acuminata (CA), also known as anogenital warts, is a predominantly sexually transmitted disease caused by the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). The most common strains of HPV that causes anogenital warts are Type 6 and 11. This vdisease affects the mucous membrane as well as skin of the external genitalia and perianal areas.
