AbstractPurpose -The purpose of this paper is to identify the obstacles encountered by current and potential entrepreneurs. The authors explore the areas associated with starting and running a business in which entrepreneurs find difficulties. Furthermore, the authors explore which entrepreneurs experience most difficulties. What issues do entrepreneurs in different sectors need help with? What issues do entrepreneurs with different current positions in the labor market need help with? Design/methodology/approach -The authors use a unique database that includes information regarding the questions that entrepreneurs ask when they call a government helpline established to provide information about how to start and run a business. The database consists of more than 30,000 observations during the period from 2005 to 2009. Findings -The results indicate that aside from general questions and concerns, taxes, laws and permits are the issues with which entrepreneurs most frequently need help. The authors do not find any gender differences regarding the need for help. Currently or future unemployed entrepreneurs more often need help related to financing, grants and business plans. Self-employed entrepreneurs need help with issues related to operating the firm, such as questions regarding employment, accounting, permits and laws. Originality/value -The research provides unique insights into the problems that entrepreneurs encounter during the entrepreneurial process. Hence, the paper identifies areas in which better or additional counseling and support from public policy agencies may be needed to improve the development and performance of new ventures.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor penentu perilaku entrepreneuship generasi muda berbasis green accounting. Rancangan penelitian adalah mixed methods (kombinasi kualitatif-kuantitatif). Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner, interview dan Group Disscussion. Metode analisis data lapangan dilakukan dengan uji Non-parametrik K-S Test dan Regresi Linear Stepwise (bertahap). Dimensi perilaku dikaji dengan komitmen, pengambilan keputusan, dan sikap. Entrepreneur generasi muda dikaji dengan pengetahuan kognitif, jaringan social, intensitas transaksi. Generasi muda dikaji dari umur, pendidikan, pengalaman, pembelajaran berpikir kritis. Green accounting dikaji dari aktivitas, biaya dan manfaat. Green Accounting (akuntansi lingkungan) merupakan upaya untuk menggabungkan manfaat lingkungan dan biaya ke dalam pengambilan keputusan ekonomi atau hasil keuangan usaha. Hasil penelitian diproleh analisis kurve normal dengan tes K-S ρ-value >α 0,05. Hasil pengujian K-S Test diperoleh z hitung 1,63 < Z Tabel 1,96. Hasil Analisis regresi linear stepwise menunjukkan bahwa penentu perilaku entreprenurship generasi muda berkontribusi terhadap aktivitas sebesar 79,6%, kontribusi terhadap biaya sebesar 53,6%, dan berkontribusi terhadap manfaat yang dihasilkan sebesar 52,9%. Optimalitas fungsi dan peran wirausaha generasi muda diprediksi mampu memecahkan masalah ekonomi. Rekomendasi hasil penelitian bahwa perilaku entreprenurship mampu menghasilkan kesempatan kerja baru dan generating income potential, sehingga perlu kajian lebih dari pengujian lanjutan spirit inovasi dan entrepreneurship muda yang bermanfaat dan berkarya.

Bu araştırmada, girişimcilik faaliyetlerinde mentorluk yönetiminin, öncelikle Türkiye'de ve sonrasında dünyada genel olarak nasıl gerçekleştiği değerlendirilecektir. Mentorluk yönetiminin, yatırımın gerçekleşmesi üzerine etkileri nitel yöntemlerle analiz edilip, ilgili yatırım firmalarına ve melek yatırımcılara danışmanlık vermede çözümler sunulması hedeflenmektedir. Küreselleşmenin yaygınlaştığı günümüzde ihracata dayalı ekonomik kalkınma zorunlu hale gelmiştir. Burada özellikle ana itici güçler olan girişimcilere çok iş düşmektedir. Yenilikçi iş fikirlerinin yatırıma geçme sürecinde, hem tecrübe sahibi mentorlardan yeterli desteklerin alınıp hem de süreçleri daha verimli yürütebilmek adına bazı destek unsurların devreye girmesi gerekmektedir. Mentor ve melek yatırımcıların destekleri bu unsurlara örnek olarak verilebilir. Artan sayıda mentorluk desteği ile yenilikçi girişimciliğin ülkelerdeki ekonomik büyüme sorununa daha etkili çözümler sunması ile milli gelire önemli bir katkı sağlaması beklenmektedir. Araştırmamız epistemolojik bağlamda nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden derleme ve içerik analizi deseniyle desteklenmiştir. Türkiye'de faaliyet gösteren yeni nesil işletmelerin girişimcileri örneklemimizi oluşturmuştur. Analiz sürecinde Nvivo 7 programı kullanılmış olup, ikincil veri olarak söylem, demeç ve röportajlardan yararlanılmıştır.
