Surgical treatment of symptomatic vertebral haemangiomas

Abstract: No standard therapy exists for symptomatic thoracic vertebral haemangiomas. However, immediate surgical intervention is necessary in cases with acute compressive myelopathy before the symptoms become irreversible.
