Sustaining Rainwater Harvesting for Household Water Supply in Awka Urban Area, Nigeria

Abstract: The perennial scarcity of water supply in Awka has been a concern to its inhabitants. This is because of the complete absence of urban water supply system for the town. Consequently, shallow wells, vending, as well as rainwater harvesting are the major sources of water supply.
